Lois Rafter Kerr Lois Kofler Korr, Gl. of RDI, died al 12 29 a rn. Sunday. January 1, 1989. in Washington Hospital, after o lengl hy illness. She was born October 23, 1927, in Allison, Fayette County, a daughter lale B. and Margaret McCauley She was a member of the Greene Valley Presbyterian Church of Carmichaels. where sric served on the Board of Deaconesses and as president of the women's Association. She was also a member of thc church choir and the adult Sunday school class. Mrs. Kerr was a 1945 graduate of High School, ond resided most of her younger life in Greensboro, before moving to Carmichaels in sric was a Past Worthy and pasi secretary of Ideal Chapter No. 213 Order of lhe Eastern Star of sric was also a member of Carmichaels Grange No. 1389. Mrs. Kerr was a beautician in Carmichaels until her retirement. On August 7, 1948. she married Rodney I. Kerr, who survives, along with one son, William R. Kerr of a daughter, Mrs. Lewis (DeborahAnn)Crouse of Sycamore a brother, William M. of Fl Wayne, Ind.; a sister, Mrs. Marshall (Peggy) Price of Springs. Texas; three grandchildren, Ruth E. Grooms, Darren Paul Crouse, and Travis Coie Crouse; and several nieces and nephews.
