Lora Marie Rinker

Mrs. Lora M. Rinker, 95, 306 E. Highland Ave., widow of Edward M. Rinker, died Wednesday at Riverview Nursing Home. She was born in Madison County and came to Muncie at age 19 with her husband.

Mrs. Rinker was a member of High Street United Methodist Church and was a former member of Business and Professional Women and Entre Nous Club.

Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Lala Bender, with whom she made her home; her granddaughter, Mrs. Earl (Jean) Hays, also of Muncie; two great-grandchildren, Mrs. John Beeson, New Castle, and Steven W. Hays, Muncie; three sisters, Miss Stella Frances Pettigrew and Mrs. Mary Baird, both of Anderson, and Mrs. Trilda Mari Fort, Fortville; and two brothers, Robert Pettigrew, Brooksville, Fla., and Earl Pettigrew, Boulder, Colo.

Services will be held in Meeks Mortuary at 2 p.m. Friday with Dr. A. Hunter Colpitts, pastor of High Street United Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary 2-5 and 7-8 p.m. Thursday and any time before the services Friday.
