Loris E. Abbott

Loris Abbott was a son of Fred H. and Esther E. Harmon Abbott.

He married Betty J. Norfleet on Aug. 10, 1960. She passed away April 25, 1988. He married Mary E. Fleming Pugh on May 17, 1991. She survives.

He is also survived by one daughter, Beth Ann (Parker Kane) Newton, LeRoy; three stepsons, Gregory L. (Caryl) Johnson, Readlyn, Iowa; Steven A. (Marjorie) Johnson, Minier and Dale O. (Rose) Johnson, Oelwein, Iowa; two grandchildren; 11 stepgrandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren and three brothers, Dale E. (Louise) Abbott, Mackinaw; Lynn E. (Ruth) Abbott, Normal and Robert R. Abbott, Danvers.

He served in the US Army during the Korean conflict in Okinawa and Guam.

He was an avid Cubs fan.
