About Lotti Pollak
Family story is that she married a fellow called ABELES and they may have lived in Prague. Hanna Wiener remembers her as small and humpbacked and even shorter than Jacob. She used to visit him and he supported her financially. When Jacob and his wife Vili went annually to Karlovy Vary Lotte went too and he would have to buy her new clothes for the holidays. Kurt Metzker her nephew says in an interview Tomi Poetsch did with him in 1981 that Tante Lotti lived in Celetna 9 above the shop of Jakub's Firma Vigo. He remembers that every year Tante Lotte went to Franzensbad and every year insisted her brother had to buy her a new silk dress and he had to pay for her trip as well. Kurt went to Franzensbad in 1935 for his health and Tante Lotte stuck to him like glue he said. She was small and thin.
