==========

Rick Gottesman: "Louie was the only one I remember meeting at a restaurant in 1965. The visit was the first time the two brothers had talked to one another since Louie absconded with their father's (Adolf) entire inheritance some 30 years before. (He settled in New Orleans, hence the branch of the family that cousin Carole comes from.) Louie was dying of cancer and saw this as his last chance to reconcile with his brother. I think he died very shortly thereafter."
