About Louis Sharp(e)

Louis Sharp married Medora Kimball in Washinton Parish, La on April 4, 1861. Their home was north of Covington on present day LA 40 in the second ward of St.Tammany Parish, LA. They raised cattle, sheep, goats,hogs, goats, chickens, ducks, and farmed. They had 15 children, of whom 13 were living in 1900. There are two unmarked infant graves and one must have been an infant that was'nt listed on the 1900 Federal census.

They are both buried at Pilgrim's Rest Cemetary near Barker's Corner.
