About Louis Mack Sommer
From obituary: "SOMMER, Louis Mack 98, of Spring Hill, passed away April 4, 2019. Lowie was a proud US Marine who served in the Pacific Theater during WWII.
Lowie worked for Tecumseh Products after coming home from the service. He was married for 67 years to his loving wife, Elva and helped to raise five children: sons James and Tom, niece Betty, and grandsons Scott and Mark. Lowie was an avid card player who loved to play pinochle with friends and family as often as he could. Lowie was also very involved in his church, First Baptist of Spring Hill of which he was a member since 1992. He was a deacon at the church and loved to sing with the choir.
Lowie was preceded in death by his wife, Elva and sons James and Thomas Sommer.
He is survived by daughter Betty Sommer Trousdale, and grandsons Scott, Mark, James, and Todd Sommer.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 10th from 1 pm to 3 pm at Grace Memorial Funeral Home followed by graveside services beginning at 3 pm at Grace Memorial Gardens."
