The daughter of Christopher and Elizabeth (Doan) Grow, Eliza lived her entire life in Daviess Co., IN.
Eliza's father was a prominent farmer and blacksmith in Barr Township of Daviess Co. As a part of a large family, Eliza learned the responsibilities that would be necessary in the farm/home that she later shared with her husband, Solomon A. Biddinger, whom she married in Daviess Co. in 1868.
The Biddingers were members of Bethany Christian Church.
Eliza and her husband were the parents of three known daughters, Deborah, Permelia, and Mabel; and three known sons, Lewis A., Austin and John W. Austin appears to have died young, as nothing other than his name is known of him.
