Mrs. Matilda Rinker, widow of the late Jacob Rinker, and a former resident of Easton, died 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Fritz, with whom she resided at Ackermanville. A complication of ailments caused her death. She was about 70 years of age.

Her father is listed as Philip Steinmetz but no mother's name is listed on her death certificate.

In the 1860 census, she is living with Michael & Caroline Weaver, their children and Jacob Steinmetz who may be her brother and is 10 years old. Inscription: Mother
