"...Lovina Mack was the daughter of Col. Stephen Mack and his wife, Temperance Bond. Reportedly the first white woman to die in Oakland County. Also, the first burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Her body and that of her father's were moved from a family plot located "south of the river, and east of Pike Street." ..."
