In the NYC Ref Ch record of their marriage banns they were: Lovys Angola, en Hilary Criolyo, Negros. Larie Swartinne had a son, Jochem, bp. 24 Aug 1644 NYC Ref Ch (wit: Bastryn, Capt. van de Swarten) (parent in bp, record: Larie Swartinne; no father given). Hillary Creole had a son, Jan. Jr., bp. 1647, with Capt. Jan DeVries, who had purchased Hillary from Juan Antonio Portuguese. “Hillarie ——, Wede. Van Lovys Angola,” m. 26 July 1682 NYC Ref Ch, Pieter Van Kampen. They both lived at Stuyvesant's Bouwery
