About Lt Colonel Richard Bonsall
A native of Wales. Commenced the study of Medicine, but abandoned the course following a falling out with his brother over affections for the same women Z.D.B. He emigrated to New York, prior to the 1769 American Revolution and remained until the close of hostilities. In 1783 he moved to St. John and was a grantee of that city.
