Lt. Peter C. Warwick,Sr. (CSA)

Peter was a flour merchant, and served as a state senator from Chesterfield County, Virginia. He married Mary Louisa about 1856. They had at least two children, Abraham and Mary Louisa. He married Caroline about 1870 at "Campfield", the home built by Caroline's grandfather in Chesterfield County in 1830. They had at least three children: Peter Jr., William Henry, and Caroline ("Lena").

Dring the Civil War, he served as a volunteer Aide-de-Camp to Maj. Gen. Samuel Jones from 1862 to 1865. He was paroled at Tallahassee, Florida on 12 May 1865.

His grave was marked in 2017 through the efforts of the "Friends of Shockoe Hill Cemetery".
