Mrs. Stephen Booth, mother of Mrs. John Cherry of this city passed away at the home of her son, George W Booth, Lee, MA . Saturday the 28th of October 1916. She was in her 85th year.
Mrs. Booth was the daughter of George B Kilton, at one time the superintendent of the Carrington Mill and was married to Stephen Booth, the youngest of 12 children....of William and Anne Booth .....from who the old Booth Farm in Bernon takes its name.
by Rev. B P Talbot, then rector of St. James church...Her husband, who was a Civil War Veteran. First RI Calvary passed away several years ago.
It is an interesting fact that for more than 80 years there has been a representative of this family resident in this city and connected with St. James.
