Lucy Gingerich, 92, of Uniontown, went to be with the Lord on Thursday August 23, 2007 at the home of her daughter, Virginia, in Traverse City, MI after a short illness. Born on June 11, 1915 in Centreville, MI, she was the daughter of Gideon and Anna (Hochstetler) Mullet. Lucy married Noah M. Gingerich on February 13, 1941 who went to be with the Lord December 30, 2006. She was a member of the Hartville Conservative Mennonite Church. Deeply loved she will be greatly missed by children, Roy (Arlene) Gingerich of Uniontown, Ruth Gingerich of Uniontown, Martha (Karl) Fricke of Charlevoix, MI, Virginia (John) Schlabach of Traverse City, MI, Pauline (James) Miller of Crossville, TN, Luke (Rhonda) Gingerich of Traverse City, MI; 17 grandchildren; brother and sisters, John (Mary Jane) Mullet of Kensington, OH, Fannie (Fred) Hostetler of Millersburg, Katie (John) Sommers of Minerva, Mary Ann Beachy of Colorado Springs, CO, Edy (Floyd) Miller of Colorado Springs, CO, and Martha (William) Gingerich of Hartville. Preceded in death by three infant children, Ida, Paul and Moses; brothers Enos and Noah Mullet; step-father Benedict Beachy; half-brother Jake Beachy; and step-siblings, Dan Beachy, Ella Weaver and Mose Hochstetler. Friends may call Sunday 2-4 PM and 6-9 PM at the Hartville Conservative Mennonite Church and prior to services Monday starting at 9 AM. Funeral services will be Monday 10:30 AM at the church with Eugene Sommers officiating. Final resting place is Walnut Grove Cemetery.
