Lucy married Hezekiah Wetherbee on June 8, 1783. Shortly after, the couple moved to Grafton, Vermont, where they raised 11 children.

Thirteen years after Hezekiah passed away, Lucy married Jonathan Lake in 1836. Jonathan passed away in 1846, and Lucy went to Bartonsville, Vermont, to live with her daughter Sarah Wetherbee Barton. She remained there for the rest of her life.
