Services for Mrs. Lula Mae Lewis were Saturday at the New Haven Church of Christ with L.E. Sloan officiating. Burial was in Lewis Cemetery with Reeds Chapel in charge.
Mrs. Lewis, 71, died early Thursday at the Jackson General Hospital. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She leaves her husband, E.G. Lewis; five sons, James Lewis, Joe Lewis, L.G. Lewis, all of Wildersville, Frank Lewis and J.T. Lewis, both of Jackson; seven daughters, Mrs. Excell Davis of Bruceton, Mrs. Gladine Barker, Mrs. Virginia Mallard, both of Wildersville, Mrs. Lounette Parrish of Huntingdon, Mrs. Marie Eason of Oaklawn, IL, Mrs. Mary Rhodes and Annie Sue Houston of Lexington; three brothers, Joe Fesmire of Memphis, Thompsie Fesmire of Nashville and Hooper Fesmire of Cedar Grove; three sisters, Mrs. Patra Milam of Lexington, Mrs. Maude White of Memphis and Mrs. Mamie Gibson of Jackson; 26 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
