Lulu (31), was shot three times at the Riversdale Mall Nelspruit, Mpumalanga during an armed robbery on 7th July 2001. She passed away in hospital on 9th July 2001.

"An Mpumalanga businessman accused of gunning down two women in a cell phone shop and killing one of them, appeared briefly in the Nelspruit Magistrate court on Monday. Kenneth Mahomed, 59, of Barberton hoped to apply for bail on Monday, but the State asked for more time to prepare its opposing arguments. Magistrate James Wilken postponed the case to Tuesday and Mohamed was remanded in custody. Mahomed has not been asked to plead on charges of murder and attempted murder. He was arrested on July 9 at the Riverside Mall in Nelspruit. He allegedly shot the owner of Autopage, Susan Engelbrecht (33), three times after an argument about money. She survived the shooting. He also shot another woman in the store, Lulu Janse van Rensburg (31), three times. She died in hospital."
