Mrs. Lydia A. Biden, the widow of Mr. Joseph Biden, a prominent commission merchant, died yesterday afternoon after an illness of about three years at her home, 1329 West Lombard street, from a complication of diseases.
Mrs. Biden was born in Baltimore county 69 years ago and moved to the city with her parents when a young girl. For many years she was a member of Bethany Methodist Episcopal Church, corner of Calhoun and Lexington streets. She is survived by four children and eight grandchildren. The children are: Messrs. J. Lee and George T. Biden, Misses Emma and Ada Biden.
The funeral will take place from her late home tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
