About Lydia Martin Huber

Lydia M. Huber, 92, of 333 Wheat Ridge Dr., Ephrata, formerly of 297 Yellow Hill Road, Narvon, died on her birthday, Wednesday, May 12, 2010 after a lengthy illness at Fairmount Homes, Ephrata.

Born in Earl Twp., she was the daughter of the late Menno and Lizzie (Martin) Weaver. Her husband, Eli M. Huber, died September 23, 1984.

She was a homemaker and a member of Bowmansville Mennonite Church, Weaverland Conference.

Surviving are eight step children, John, married to Mabel (Martin) Huber of New Holland, Lydia Zimmerman of Goshen, IN, Eli, married to Emma (Leinbach) Huber of Narvon, Anna Mary, married to Ira Martin of East Earl, Katie, married to Enos Leinbach of Mt. Pleasant Mills, Emma, married to Harvey Seibel of Columbia, Alice, married to Phares Martin of Mohnton, and David, married to Joyce (Hostetter) Huber of Leonardtown, MD; 50 step grandchildren; 302 step great grandchildren; and 82 step great-great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death are three step grandsons, Paul Martin, Marvin Huber, and Edwin Leinbach; five step great grandchildren, Justin Huber, Glenda Brubacker, Anna Mary, Roselyn, and Ruth Arlene Hoover; a step great-great grandson, Elvin Martin; five brothers, Ivan M., Edwin M., Harvey M., Paul M., and Henry M. Weaver; and two sisters, Anna Mae Rutt, and Bertha Weaver.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 15 at 1:15 pm at Fairmount Homes Wheat Ridge Chapel, 333 Wheat Ridge Dr., Ephrata with further services at 2 pm at Bowmansville Mennonite Church with the Bishop Amos G. Martin officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. Viewing will be held on Friday from 5-8 pm at Fairmount Homes Wheat Ridge Chapel. Kindly omit flowers.
