THE GROTON AVERY CLAN, Vol. I, by Elroy McKendree Avery and Catherine Hitchcock (Tilden) Avery, Cleveland, 1912. p. 326, 523
Lydia AVERY, married first to Abner JOHNSON (son of Seth JOHNSON and Hannah EATON, NOT Abner Johnson and Abigail Durand or Anne Delano!).
Widowed Lydia AVERY Johnson then married Nathan JENNINGS (may be mistaken as Ginnings in some records), his first wife died in 1801.
Also, this Lydia Avery is NOT to be mistaken as Lydia Avery who married JONATHAN LADD in 1799 in Stafford, CT.
Lydia AVERY can be found in the Avery Book p. 523 (7th generation). Note it says Goshen, not Groton, which is incorrect.
