She had 1 or 2 children with him. Jacob served in the Rev. War under Daniel Trigg's Company of Militia of Montgomery Co., VA from 1777-1778. ™ (Lydia's Son, John Elswick, III, also served in the same company during the Rev. War as her brother-in-law, Israel Lorton, Jr., & her 2nd. husband, Jacob Lorton. When Jacob married Lydia in late 1749, John III was 4. This son was known as "War John Elswick".)
