Lydia Floretta Hildegarde Manthe

Lydia Floretta Hildegarde Mantha, dau. of Carl Manthe, was born July 12, 1889 in Sheboygan, Sheboygan Co., Wisconsin. She married with HOMER BALDWIN on May 19, 1908 in Waukegan, Illinois. He died Apr. 19, 1968 in Waupaca, Waupaca Co., Wisconsin; she died June 6, 1981 in Manawa, Waupaca Co., Wisconsin. Both buried at Little Wolf Cemetery, Manawa, Waupaca Co., Wisconsin. All children born Wisconsin.

Children were: Ethel (1910-1917) Muriel (1913), Earl (1916), Marian (1917), Victor (1919), Audrey (1921), Ruth (1924), Robert (1926), and Faye (1930).

Obit: June 1981: MRS. LYDIA BALDWIN. Mrs. Lydia Baldwin, 350 N. Bridge St., aged 91, died unexpectedly Saturday in Manawa from an apparent heart attack. She was born July 12, 1889 in Sheboygan. She married Homer Baldwin, May 19, 1908 in Waukegan, Illinois. Mrs. Baldwin had lived in the Manawa area since 1902.

Survivors include five daughters: Mrs. Donald (Muriel) Blink of Appleton; Mrs. Frank (Marian) Kroll of Green Bay; Mrs. Frank (Audrey) Peluso of Milwaukee; Mrs. Robert (Ruth) Ross of Oshkosh; and Mrs. Jack (Fay) Emmott of Sheboygan; three sons; Earl of Big Falls; Victor of Richaldn Center, and Robert of New London; a sister Mrs. Rae Roman of Neenah; 25 grandchildren; and 45 great-grandchidren. She was preceded in death by her husband and a daughter, Ethel.

The funeral was held Tesday at the Cline, Hanson, Dahlke Funeral Hoe in Manawa, with the Rev. Barry Shaw officiating. Interment took place in Little Wolf Cemetery, Manawa.
