About Lydia Wenger Martin
Lydia W. Weaver Martin, 87, of Bowers, Berks County, died Sunday morning at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center,where she was a patient since March 23.
She was the wife of the late Elam K. Martin, who died in 1950.
Born in Caernarvon Township, she was a daughter of the late David S. and Lizzie Wenger Weaver. She was a member of Kutztown Mennonite Church.
Surviving are five sons: Aaron W. of New- manstown; Harvey W. of Fleetwood R2; Alvin W. of Kutztown R1; Ammon W. of Mifflinburg; and Floyd W. of Latham,Mo.; and four daughters: Ellen, wife of David S. Martin, with whom she last resided; Elva, wife of Elvin Brubaker of Stevens R2; Lydia, wife of Paul Sensenig of Kutztown R4; and Bertha, wife of Elam N. Leid of Shoemakersville.
Also surviving are 83 grandchildren; 182 great-grandchildren; a sister, Fianna Weaver of Churchtown; and three half-sisters: Hettie, wife of Ivan Fox of Ephrata RD; Emma, wife of Harry Nolt, and Anna, wife of Floyd Ringler, both of Narvon R1; and two-half brothers: David Weaver of Ephrata R3; and Amos Weaver, Vineland, N.J.
