About Lydia Ann Raber

Lydia Ann Raber 66, of 5786 TR 610, Fredericksburg, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at 1:45 PM surrounded by family, after an extended illness and congestive heart failure. She was born in Holmes County on May 24, 1956 to the late John and Susie (Yoder) Troyer. On April 20, 1978 she married David A. Raber who survives. Lydia Ann was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

In addition to her husband David she is survived by her five sons and nine daughters, Abe (Amanda) Raber of Millersburg, Ada (Eli) Yoder of Millersburg, Susan Raber of the home, Ivan (Susan) Raber of Big Prarie, Mary (David) Miller of Fredericksburg, Martha (Andy) Miller of Fredericksburg, Lydia Ann (Abe) Miller of Millersburg, Clara (John) Miller of the home, Fannie (Ian) Mast of Mt. Hope, John Raber of the home, Firman (Kristina) Raber of Apple Creek, Elsie (Roy) Troyer of Fredericksburg, Esta Raber of the home, Mose (special friend Erma Miller) Raber of the home; 41 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 6 step-grandchildren; 12 step-great-grandchildren; four sisters, Ada (late Roman) Yoder of Baltic, Mattie (John) Troyer of Baltic, Susie Mae (Jr.) Troyer of Millersburg and Effie (Paul) Miller of Baltic; and a brother-in-law, Roman (late Alma) Yoder of Baltic.

In addition to her parents and her parents-in-law, she was preceded in death by her sister, Alma Yoder; 1 sister-in-law; 2 brothers-in-law; 1 granddaughter, Katie Raber; and 1 step-great-granddaughter, Sarah Miller.

Funeral services will be held at the family residence on Saturday, October 29, at 9:30 AM with Bishop Eli M. Hershberger officiating. Burial will follow in the Weaver Cemetery. Friends may call at the family residence after 2 PM on Thursday and any time on Friday. The family would like to thank Ohio Hospice LifeCare for their kind assistance.
