Lydia Ann Wenger, nee Topper, was born in St. Joe county, Indiana, July 21, 1852, died September 17, 1911, aged 58 years, 1 month and 26 days.
She was united in marriage to Samuel Wenger, September 1, 1873. To this union were born two sons and four daughters, Mary Jane Schlarb and Celestia May Kline of St. Joseph county, Indiana, Nettie Ann Hunsberger of Elkhart county, Ind., Ellnora Hunsberger of Oscoda county, Michigan and Samuel Devon Wenger of Howard county, Indiana. Besides these, she leaves to mourn her loss, a husband, two sisters, four brothers, sixteen grandchildren and a host of friends. Services conducted by Eld. H. M. Schwalm, at the Olive church. She chose for the text, the 23rd Psalm.
The husband and children extend their heartfelt thanks to their neighbors and friends who so kindly assisted them during the sickness, death and burial of the departed wife and mother.
