The 1910 US Census for Monmouth, Warren County, Illinois, shows Ida Fairchild, 55, as head of household, Widow; mother of 6 children with 5 living; living with her son Charles N., 25, and her mother, Phoebe A. Baldwin, Widow, 83, mother of 12 children with 7 living.
On 6 Sep 1930 she arrived in Montreal, QC, on the vessel Andania, from Belfast, Northern Ireland; destination, Brantford, ON; Age 75.
She was buried at Farrington Cemetery, Brantford, ON, Section I, III, V, in Aug 1947, with her son, Charles N. Fairchild - Canada Find A Grave.
