Mildred Ferst, nee Zemel, beloved wife of the late Jack Ferst; devoted mother of Rivia (the late Stuart) Greenberger and Lenore (Dale) Caldwell; loving grandmother of Dr. Kathy Greenberger (Stephen Slaggert), Dr. Mark (Robin) Greenberger, Karen (Edward) Topp, Dr. Robert Caldwell (Sarah Packman) and Dr. Jeremy (Kristine) Caldwell; great-grandmother of Nicholas, Julia, Shaya, Michael, Amy, Stuart, Emily and Ava; dear sister of Albert (the late Naomi) Zemel, Tess (the late Ben) Oserman, the late Gertrude Hershman, Fern Silver, Bernard Zemel and Ruth Elster. Graveside funeral services Monday, 2:30 p.m. at Menorah Gardens Cemetery, 17th Avenue south of Roosevelt Road, Broadview.
