About Mable Sampson

Mable Sampson, 60, of 2434 Deep Branch Road, died Jan. 19, 2012.

Sampson was born in Robeson County on Dec. 21, 1951.

She was the daughter of the late Boyd and Lula Mae Sanderson Sampson.

She is survived by a son, Scotty Mitchell and wife Brandy, both of Lumberton; a daughter, Liza Thompson and husband Tuskalusa of Clarksville, Tenn.; two grandsons, Tyler Scott Mitchell and Tristan Blake Mitchell; a special niece, Dedra Sanderson; two special friends, Diane Hunt and Shirley Locklear; and a host of other family and friends.

The funeral will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Revels Funeral Home Chapel in Lumberton, the Revs. Timmie Sampson, Jerry McNeill and Jason Chandler officiating.
