About Madelain-Csitri Kovacs (Klein)
Csitri and Hans, lived in the USA for 30 years, where Hans changed his name to John. Before WWII, on their way from Austria to the USA, the couple came to Trieste and visited Filippo and Margit Kron, who gave them money they needed for the journey to America. They returned the money later to Noemi when they came to Israel.
They had no children. They owned a dry cleaning place in San Francisco, did very well in the United States, came to Israel in 1963 where they bought an apartment in Ramat Aviv, 5, Bergson Street. Later Csitri and Boriska were in the same nursing home: "Olei Merkaz Europa" in Ramat-Chen (Ramat-Gan), but never told anyone there that they were sisters.
