Madeleine Robin?

Before learning that Madeleine died when she was only 6 years old, I wondered why Philip Robin's will mentions Marthe and Elizabeth. "I bequeath to my natural daughter Elizabeth, spouse of Jean Le Boutillier, residing in Canada, Two Thousand Pounds Sterling....." without any mention of Madeleine.

There, is, however another wife in Jersey who is mentioned as "my dear wife". Marthe is named but not called wife. This is recorded in court records of dispute regarding whether marriage to Marthe was legit. O'hare is present as a witness and a petition signed by many residents of Percé along with a statement from the daughter of the Justice of the Peace who performed the ceremony are offered against only the complaint of the Jersey objectors. Oddly, the Jersey wife is named Madeleine (Lehmann) Philp made out this will in Paris and then died a short time later in Switzerland.

Philip and Marthe's were married by a justice of the peace on 08/23/1811
