Madeline W Jantz

Madeline W. Jantz, 92, passed away June 25, 2016 at the Moundridge Manor. She was born September 28, 1923 in Harvey County, Kansas the daughter of David and Dena Nightingale Schmidt. She was a member of the Lone Tree Church of God In Christ, Mennonite, Galva. On May 18, 1947 she married Harvey B. Jantz at Galva. They farmed for 52 years in the Durham area, retiring to the Galva area in 1996. Harvey passed away on May 3, 2006. She is survived by their children, Janice (Mark) Ralston of Long Beach, CA, Stanley (Mary) Jantz of Greeley, CO, Gordon (Maureen) Jantz of Greeley, CO, Vincent (Julie) Jantz of Tampa, KS, and Janell (John) Unruh of Galva, KS, 6 brothers, Allen, of Topeka, Chester and Norman both of Galva, Orman, Kermit and Howard all of McPherson, 1 sister, Ada Koehn of Burns, KS, 13 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m., with the family greeting friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Moundridge Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Lone Tree Church of God In Christ, Mennonite, Galva. Burial will be in the Lone Tree Church Cemetery.
