Madison Hall Tennille

Tombstone recorded in the 1930s by the DAR (See "Genealogical Research Louisiana", 1931, Page 28). In 1991 when the local SCV recorded the headstones, it had the notation "stone lying flat on grave". Madison's middle name was transcribed at the time as "Hale" but is recorded in the Tennille Family Bible as "Hall".

He was the youngest child of Benjamin and Rachael Wicker Deeson Tennille. According to the Benjamin Tennille family Bible, he was born "...on Friday two hours before day, July 28, 1809". He was the couple's last child, and the only one to be born in Ouachita Parish. He never married and died at the age of 23.
