Major Laban Odell (CSA)

He is the Major Laban D Odell (born November 8, 1836 and died May 3, 1863) listed in the Cemetery Census for Grays Chapel. http://cemeterycensus.com/nc/rand/cem025.htm

Major of the 22nd North Carolina Infantry for the Confederate States Army. Killed at Chancellorsville.

In the 1860 census he is listed as living with a Mary C Odell, age 18, and a Samuel Trogdon, age 20. Who are these people in relation to Laban? -- answer: Mary (Craven) Odell is his wife, and Samuel Trogdon is Laban's first cousin from his mother's side, child of Emsley J Trogdon and Sarah Stout.
