According to the book "Maor VaShemesh" Rabbi Kalonymus Kalman Epstein had 2 daughters. One was married to Flachs and the other Bromberg. It is likely that Grunfeld was a granddaughter perhaps through Rabbi Yosef Boruch. Should this be Grunfeld?

Now I am uncertain. I have now found some research which seems to reveal that there was a third daughter of the Maor Vashemesh and I am looking into this. This third daughter may indeed be the missing link.

Additionally, the daughter of the Maor Vashemesh that married Flax was a half sister to the other children and step daughter to Milka Raidel.

P.S. The proper family name is definitely spelled Grunfeld.
