Manfred (42) living on a smallholding in Bredell, Kempton Park, Gauteng, was shot dead in the early hours of the morning, in his bedroom on 31st January 2013.

His wife, Chantell, tried to crawll under the bed to hide, but the robbers pulled her out.

The couple's 14-year-old twin boys went to investigate and were held at gunpoint, along with Chantell.

Two laptops and cell phones were stolen. The perpetrators attempted to break into the neighbour's house as well, but were unsuccessful.
