Manuel Lim Jr.

Manuel Lim Jr. is a Filipino physician and politician who served as mayor of Tibiao, Antique from 1981 to 1986.

Manuel Lim Jr, popularly called Dr. Nonie was the third child of the twelve children of Ex Mayor Manuel M. Lim Sr and Anita Javison Mandolado. Dr. Nonie is the youngest elected mayor of the town at the age of 26. After his graduation in University of Sto Tomas he launched his candidacy as Municipal Mayor. During his incumbency as municipal mayor he reconstructed the municipal building, built farm to market roads for the farmers, and killed three commanders of NPA in the mountains of Tibiao. Because of his bravery Tibiao became Peace and order.
