About Marcellus Calvin Rambo
He was first an accountant for a dry goods firm. He later joined the credit department of standard Oil of California, and worked out of San Francisco. He was in San Francisco in 1906 and was put in charge of the Jefferson Square Relief Depot, following the great earthquake. His depot dispensed food and clothing to the ones that survived. He was a Republican and a Presbyterian. He died of a stroke while on a business trip to Allentown, PA
