About Marcus Daniel
Marcus Daniel was born May 1, 1847, at Thorn, Germany, and moved to the U.S. early in his life, settling in Mississippi. He married Miss Amelia Wadel at Summit, Mississippi, in 1879. He and his family moved to Tyler in 1882.
Mr. Daniel died on June 15, 1907, from heart failure. Burial was in Jewish Cemetery.
Mr. Daniel was survived by his wife; son, Earnest Daniel, San Angelo; daughter, Mrs. L. Rosenbaum, Dallas; sister-in-law, Mrs. J. Lipstate, Tyler; brother-in-law, Mr. B. Wadel, Tyler; brother, Mr. Z. Daniel, Brookhaven, Mississippi. (see Tyler Daily Courier, June 15th, 17th, and 20th, 1907)
