About Margaret C Cook

Margaret (Rebischung) Cook-Kloepfel age 94, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011 at The Inn at University Village in Massillon, Ohio surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Coraopolis April 7, 1916 and resided there for 77 years before moving to North Canton, Ohio after the death of her husband, Joseph Robert Cook. She was one of two daughters born to the late Frederick and Clara (Meyer) Rebischung and was preceded in death by her sister, Clara O'Malley. Margaret was Valedictorian of her Coraopolis High School Class, 1934, and valued education all of her life. She was a member of St. Joseph Church (Coraopolis) and St. Paul's Church (N. Canton, Ohio). She was active in Christian Mothers. Margaret was known for her smile, her love of family, reading and card playing.

Margaret is survived by her husband, Walter; her loving son and daughter-in-law, Frederick and Linda Cook of Canton; her cherished grandsons, Dr. Benjamin and wife, Diane, Dr. Andrew and wife, Cheryl, and Daniel and wife, Nicole; and her five great- grandchildren, Natalie, Sarah Margaret, Joseph, Frederick and Lucas. To her grandsons and their friends, she was known as "Mams".

The family wishes to acknowledge the loving and compassionate care given to "Maggie" by the staff at University Village Assisted Living and Crossroads Hospice. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name may be made to St. Paul Church (241 S. Main Street, N. Canton, OH 44720). A Blessing service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 7 at Copeland's Funeral Home, 867 Fifth Ave., Coraopolis, Pa. Father Richard Jones officiating. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.
