From the Geraldton Guardian and Express, Tuesday 28 September 1937, p2.

Death of Yalgoo Resident.— On Tuesday of last week Mrs. E. Wehlack, of Yalgoo, left that centre for admission to the Mullewa Hospital, and on Sunday last advice was received to the effect that the lady had passed away early that morning. The deceased lady's husband has been an inmate of the same hospital for some weeks past, but he is now reported to be making satisfactory progress. The late Mrs. Wehlack was a native of the Geraldton district, but for some years past she has lived at Yalgoo with her husband. In addition to the bereaved husband and one son, the deceased lady is survived by a brother (Mr. P. Hogan) living in the vicinity of Walkaway, whilst she was also an aunt of Mrs. J. C. Willcock.
