Margret Burnet was born in 1629 in Aldgate, City of London, London, England and was baptized on November 15, 1629 in London, England. Her parents were Abraham Mitchell and Parnell Mitchell.

Margret married Alexander Burnet II Of Westminster in October 1680 in Middlesex, England. Together they had the following children:

• Alexander Burnet, III;
• Isabella Burnet.

She died before 1710.
