Maria Adelaide never knew her husband Louis Anthe' Muller as any other person. She adopted Charley, Louis's nine-year-old son born in 1805 in Graz Austria as her own after Louis left for Europe in 1812. He also left Carlos, her son born in 1808 while residing in Hamilton with Louis. She remarried Mr, Reice or Rice in New York State. Charley Muller at some point went back to Graz Austria to stay with his Father's relatives and immigrated to New York again in 1820. He immediately took a wife and she bore him a son in 1821. His name was Charles "Charlie" Miller Rice. His son was Melvin Rice, husband to Alice M. Bloggette Rice. (My Great Grandmother)
