Brief overview:

Maria (52), went missing on 27th September 2013. She went to see a friend in Bankhead Road, then from there to visit her son Nick, in Mount Vernon Road. The family reported her missing on 4th October after realising that no-one had seen her over a week. An inquest was opened.

On Sunday 6th, a police sniffer dog was brought in after her family found her clothing and other personal belongings strewn across a pathway at the Queensburgh Park, at the corner of Mount Vernon and Fremantle roads. This led to where they found Maria's naked, decomposing body, in dense bushes.
