GEDCOM Note
FAG Marie Brun (daughter of Claude Brun and Cecile Dugas) was born 17 Dec 1710 in Port Royal, Acadia, Nova Scotia d. Unknown
Marie Brun was christened 18 Dec 1710 at La Chepelle St-Laurent near Port Royal, Acadie
She married Jean Baptiste Martin on 24 Nov 1732 in Port Royal, Acadia, son of Rene Martin and Marie Meunier dit Lagace (widow of Joesph) Gravois
Marie died sometime between 1755 and 1763 (in her 40s or early 50s), during the turbulent period following Le Grand Dérangement. Her date and place of death are unknown. The Martin family eventually found refuge in Kamouraska, Québec; and when Marie's eldest son Charles married there (at Ste-Anne-de-la-Pocatière in 1763), the marriage record stated that Marie was deceased. This is further confirmed and restated in marriage records for some of her other children.
