About Marie Anna Fischl

Birth record, index only: HBMa 1326 (Myslkovice) NOZ 1869-1930 (+ Tučapy, Budislav), image 53. Recorded as "Nany Rind." No date of birth is included, and the records cited appear to be lost, but the location cited follows closely after that of the birth of her sister Rosalie, born in 1841: folio 72, record 422 for "Nany" versus folio 65, record 404 for Rosalie. (Contrast the citation of folio 109, record 628 for Rosalia's son Adolf, born in 1861.) Together with the fact that Marie is called "Ana" in the 1869 census record (see below), it is clear that this refers to the same person. Though her name appears as "Marie" in her marriage record and in her obituary notice, it is likely that she was called "Anna" within her parental family to distinguish her from her mother, whose name was also "Marie." —M.R.

"Ana Rynd," daughter of Jakob, born in Chýnov in 1842, per 1869 Chýnov census, image 159

Marriage record (5 May 1874): HBMa 1750 RADENÍN (o. Tábor) N 1869-1930 (i částečný) O 1866-1931 (i částečný) Z 1865-1930, image 82/179, record 113 (Vademecum). The record gives both "Kvetusch" (Květuš, obec Chyšky, Písek District), the home town of the bridegroom, and "Chejnow" (Chýnov, Tábor District), the home town of the bride, as the location of the wedding; so either there were two ceremonies, or, if there was only one, it can be presumed to have taken place in the home town of the bride.
