Marion Sempill was born in 1617.[1] She was the daughter of Hugh Sempill, 5th Lord Sempill and Lady Anne Hamilton.[1]

She married George Preston, son of John Preston and Grixel Coville, in 1634.[1]

She died in 1706.[1]

From 1634, her married name became Preston.[1]
