Moritz is mentioned as a witness in a baptism record in Holtorf in 1681 (although the first name is hard to make out), and Moritz's wife (unnamed) is mentioned as a witness in Mortitz's nephew's (Claus Mesenbring) baptism record in 1692.

Moritz does not show up in the 1689 Poll Tax in Erichshagen (where his brother and father are listed) or in Holtorf, so this might mean that he died before 1689.
