Note: Mark was employed ias a Farmer. He will was signed in Cumberland Co, VA. He joined religion in Methodist. Mark inherited, with his brother Thomas, the plantation where his father lived in Essex Co VA. Information from "Andrews Family of Essex Co VA", correspondence with Mrs. George Noel, Col. Courtney, Jane Phillips Nixon,and June Mitchell. Mark moved to Cumberland Co VA about 1759, according to VA Magazine of History, v 43 p 69.

This Bible was transcribed from a copy of the 1761 edition of the Bible published by Mark Baskett, London.
Copies can be found in Barnett folder of the surname section of the GEORGIA DEPARTMENT of ARCHIVES and HISTORY. It can also be found in the October 14, 1989, Number 1095, edition of FAMILY PUZZLERS.
