Marcus was baptized at St. Stephens by Saltash in Co. Cornwall June 25, 1615. His older brother Hercules was born in the same parish in 1604 & died in 1659 in NH. He was a fishing master & owned 3 shipping boats.

Mark or Marcus was a shipwright at Little Harbour. He and Richard Shortridge were already living on the whole neck of land granted to them 22 Jan. 1660/1.

In 1660-61 Mark was granted a"whole neck of land" (Little Harbor, NH). He was trained as a shipwright but became owner of a fishing boat and employed a master to operate it. He might have owned the fishing industries on his island.

• V. Mary- m. Thomas Wakeham (b.c.1640, will 27 Sept. 1698- 15 Dec. 1709 Portsmouth), d. after 1714
